My dad told me that I was gonna be a slow kid, but by third grade I was in all the advanced classes.
I just discovered that piece of info now. I could've been a slow kid. I always looked down upon the more mentally challenged and to think I could've been one of them *shudders*
Its so wierd. I use to struggle with math in first and second grade, but now, from third grade, i'm one of the smartest kids in my class. Its sooo wierd -
When my mom was pregnet with me a doctor said I could have been born retarded, if I was going to be born at all (my mom had a miscarriage beforehand). But I came out ok and I've always been in advanced classes. But I've never looked down on mentally challenged people.
