Today was alright

Peer editing was today in English class. So I worked with some girl who was nice to me previously.

I edited hers and it was going well. She kept apologizing tho bc she thought she might ruin my essay by not having good enough advice or giving poor advice. I tried to reassure her but she kept apologizing.

I did not mind bc I'm often told that I say sorry too much. Idk why I do, actually. Maybe to reduce conflict? Idk

Anyway she mentioned not wanting to sound harsh in the editing which, unfortunately, gave the anxiety part of my brain a stupid idea.

After some time I told her I hoped I didn't sound too harsh. She said editors kinda have to be harsh tho and it was fine. True I guess.

That did not stop my worrying

At the end we switched papers and she looked at all of the advice I had given. And I said "um.."
Well, that's like my most used word anyway -
But she was looking at it too hard which is why I said that. Then she said "you're not too harsh don't worry."
And I was like "well dang ok" bc like
Reassurance? I don't voice my worries enough to get much of that but since she was already telling hers I decided to also. -
Ughhh I'm like extremely close to Junior LIKE OMG HURRY
