I just got back from a hockey game.

Thread Topic: I just got back from a hockey game.

The game started at like 9:15; it's 1:03 right now :P it was a college game, and the home team was behind in the 1st and 2nd periods but then they picked it up in the 3rd and we won it 8-7 :) but, it should've been us winning 10-6, but the refs didn't call two of our goals and they counted one that shouldn've have been counted for the other team. Eh, whatever, we still won :D. And, that isn't even the best part. Durring the game two pucks got hit over the glass and into the area that only the players and coaches are usually allowed to go, and we went over there and got them, and then we sweet talked the guy in charge of the pucks to get everyone on the team to sign the two pucks after the game :D. And he gave us two practice pucks. So now, when one of the players on the team make it to the NHL and become famous, we have their college signatures :P :D

Yeah, and we were talking to one of the players on the team too, and it was pretty cool. It also probably helped that a 10 year old girl asked for the signatures of the team, but still :P. and, the game itself was awesome. There were so many almost fights, but the refs broke them apart. And, in the 1st period alone there were about 3 injuries for our team and 1 for the other. I mean, this one guy was lying in the middle of the ice for what had to be a solid minute before the ref acknowledged it and blew the whistle. The guy was staring right at the guy on the ice for like 40 seconds, and he didn't do anything. The game was still going on for a minute. The coach got pissed and yelled to the ref "That should've been called inediately!!". So in other words, it was awesome :D

Yeah, you so should've :P oh, and two players knocked each other against the wall of the rink, and the glass on the door for the zamboni to come and go from got knocked out so they had to stop the game for a good 15 minutes so they could fix it :P
