Thread Topic: Oh typos.
-
While at school, I was typing a paper, and meant to type "I meandered through the hallway."
What I typed was "I neandered through the hallway."
I think that means something entirely different. -
What was your paper supposed to be about?
-
Well, it wasn't really a paper, it was more of just a description of my day. But I neandered it, I guess.
-
Oh. What does "meandered" mean? I would look it up but I feel like asking you...
-
To follow a winding course.
-
Now I know another word! I'll say it a lot tomorrow.
-
"Neandered" on the other hand, means to do something like a Neanderthal. So I walked through the hallway like a Neanderthal, apparently.
-
Two words now! Although, I could've guessed what it meant considering it sounds very similar to Neanderthal. Sometimes I neander through the hallway. I don't think neander is a word.
