It's been nearly a year since the last time I've talked to my mom...

And I'm having lunch with her tomorrow.

Almost a year? Thats long. You don't have to be nervous. You two will have a lot of catching up to do so it wont be boring. Are you worried that she might have changed or something?

I'm not really worried that she's changed. If she has, then that's that. I'm just nervous about seeing her again.

I don't know what she'll say or how she'll act. And it's going to be just me and her.

Relax. She's your mom so you don't have to be nervous. Sure, it's been a long time but that's what will make it fun and ineteresting.
