There it was, that feeling in his stomach. It was warm, fuzzy, but it made him feel so sick and unsettled, it almost as if he were going to vomit. The normal person would be glad to know the reason why that feeling came about, and he definitely knew the reason behind it. That wasn't the problem. He was unable to escape that reason for long periods of time, due to battle and the special time that they rarely to never spent together. His heart, body, and mind wouldn't remain patient for much longer. His hunger for magic was nothing compared to what he so desperately wanted now...
"Sir! We've completed our settlements around the nearby gold mines. We should begin bolstering our defenses in the case of an attack by the undead." One of the princes lieutenants informed him, startling him from his distant thoughts. "Lady Vashj should be returning soon with her Naga."
"Right. Lets get to it then, we don't need any setbacks." He ordered, sending the underling on his way. He sighed, trying to regain his composure. He was so out of focus that an enemy could easily walk right in front of him and he wouldn't take any notice to it. He needed to get his head out of the clouds, needed to worry about the war at hand. He watched as the serpent-like creatures made their way through camp from their own beach settlements, watching for the sea witch that lead them. Perhaps she would have some form of news that would keep his mind from wondering off again. "What news do you bring, Lady?" He asked a bit too eagerly.
Vashj didn't bother to note the prince's enthusiasm and proceeded to explain the situation. "The undead will be approaching the isles soon, Prince Kael'thas. We should train more soldiers and quickly prepare for battle, but fear not, it is but a small scouting group. Still, Arthur could easily arrive with more of his undead army by dawn." The witch slithered along a dirt trail alongside the blood elf prince.
"They shouldn't be much trouble at all. I'll have my brethren patrol the area in groups as well. We'll extinguish them like the aggravating pests that they really are..." He stated in response to the Lady's report. A scouting group and the possibility of the head of the army himself coming out for a fight? Perfect. Not the greatest distraction, but it would do for the time being. If the complete undead army were to come at them with full force, then it would be the best way to keep his mind occupied and out of the gutter. But even so, he struggled to keep from allowing the thoughts to return. It was one of the most difficult things he'd ever done.
