I don't know, but that seems to be the point of the sleepover. Learning hebrew and jewish history (which is ok, i guess) and bar mitzvah stuff.

A couple of my friends are jewish. One went to Israel (sp?) for his bar mitzvah over the summer

Isnt a bar mitzvah a celebration for becoming an adult for when you turn 13? Isnt it somewhat like a sweet 16 and quienseneria (sp?)?

It's like a rite of passage for jewish kids. they do it when they turn 13.

It is like a sweet 16 but you have to lead a service and stuff. And i'm having a masquerade ball after because it's gonna by right before halloween next year.
