Her flesh was ripped from her bones, so that all that remained of her was her skeleton.
Her baby had been hid in the bushes, and crawled out.
Curiously he placed his mother's skull on his head. It got stuck. He picked up another bone, in hopes of prying it off.
It didn't work.
And that is how Cubone came to be.:3 -
