I think I've got it. I just changed a few positions.
(name) rules the world. It could be argued that nobody really rules the entire world, but if that's true, this wo/man controls more of it than anyone else. They've lived millennia upon millennia, watching nations rise and fall, leaders take power and crumble under the pressure. For the past three thousand years, s/he's lived on the continent of Antarctica, away from the oblivious human world.
But recently, s/he has been discovered. The leaders of the world's most important nations have gathered to discuss this odd being, and decide what to do with the knowledge of his/her existence.
Eventually, they decide to kill the wo/man. Two of the nations send one of their youngest and most talented assassins for the job. This roleplay is the story of the assassins' battle to kill the wo/man, and the wo/man's escape from the assassins. S/he leads them on a wild goose chase around the world. -
