"They.." Sirens cutt me off.

He froze and stared at her, wide-eyed.

I started to sob.

"C'mon," he whispered. He took her hand and ran.

I ran behind him.

He ran on with her for a while.

I stopped and looked back.

He looked back as well.

I sat on the ground.

He sat next to her.

"I-i don't want to go back."

"I won't let them take you." He pulled her into his lap.
