Day One: Why Me?
Hi, I'm Albany, a 13 year old teen. I'm not a normal teen, I can tell you that. First off, I don't look normal at all.. because I'm albino. I'm the only albino girl in my state, and I'm a complete outcast everywhere I go. I've got used to it, though.
But thats not the only reason why I'm not normal.
When I was about 3 or 4, I remember looking at my mom, and suddenly I closed my eyes, reality changing as I opened my eyes. I was in the same room, in the same spot I was when I closed my eyes. I couldn't see my dad anymore. Instead I saw a cruel looking man cursing under his breath, trying to hide something, something in a black garbage bag. A locket fell out of the bag, and I gasped as a small hand appeared out of the bag. I soon woke up, laying down on the white and black checkered tile that served as my kitchen's floor. My mom sighed in relief as she saw me awake. W-What happened? I seemed to choke out. My mom bit her lip, trying not to cry. Albany, you passed out.
That day seems like it was just yesterday. It scared me at first, but when I started to grow older, I stopped passing out. But I didn't know what I had, what I had been gifted. When I was about 8 or 9, I found out I was born with the gift of seeing the future of other people. Unfortunately, Alyson wasn't born with any gift... which had made her jealous.
We didn't look the same, seeing as she wasn't albimo. Instead of having my snow white hair, ice blue eyes and pale complexion, she had chocolate brown hair and jade green eyes, with a gorgeous tan. Our faces looked alike though, seeing as we had the same nose and eye shape, with our plumped up lips.
I was never as close to anyone as much as I was to Alyson. She was my best friend, we told each other everything. I gave her a locket on her birthday, and when she passed away it was handed to me. I've never taken it off ever since the day of the funeral, it hangs close to my heart, a picture of her beautiful face placed inside.
Day Two: Happy Birthday in Heaven.
Today is my 14th birthday. It isn't as fun as it was with Aly, but I know she's looking down, eating a cloud cake. I hope the fluffy texture had a nice flavor.
My day so far has been amazing, seeing as I got some nice things and I saw Benjamin. I kind of have a crush on him, we're really good friends. He's so funny and sweet. I see a beautiful shadow in his future, but I don't understand why I can't see her face.
Anyways, back to my birthday.
I woke up at about 11 today, seeing as I stayed up all night reading one of my favorite books. I combed my hair, straightening it and getting dressed in a turquoise dressy dress-like shirt with leggings that matched my hair. I tip-toed down the stairs, and was greatly surprised when Crystal (my friend), Benjamin, Ashley (my cousin), and Brianna (my friend) jumped out with confetti. I flipped on the lights, a wide grin appearing on my face. You guys scared me to death! I exclaimed, trying to catch my breath. Everyone joined into a group hug, except for my step-father, who was coming into the kitchen to get some pipe cleaner.
After a while, everyone pulled back except for Benjamin. I blushed deeply as he pulled back, blushing as deep as I was. A smile crept up on his lips, and his beautiful brown eyes sparkled. After a few minutes, he joined beside me.Please forgive me for doing this... He said, grabbing my wrist quickly. Lets dig in! He yelled, dragging me to the cake. I giggled and screamed excitedly as he picked me up from my waist, stuffing my face into the cake. Everyone laughed as I rose my head, pink and white icing caked on my face. I wiped it off, smiling, and flung some towards Benjamin. The food stack into his hair and on his black shirt, looking like paint splatter. He picked up some cake pieces, and yelled, Food fight!
Frosting and cake bread flew all over me and my friends and soon the cake was gone. We all grinned as we looked at our ruined clothes, giggling crazily. We cleaned up, and then it was present time. Ashely went first, handing me a beautiful pair of diamond earring. I smiled and hugged her, thanking her. Soon I received a purse and some makeup supplies from Crystal and Brianna. I thanked them, and then it was Benjamin's turn.
He handed me a disk, grinning and blushing.I made you a movie.
I blushed also, and thanked him. Soon everyone had to leave. I sadly said goodbye to everyone, and as Benjamin went out he kissed me on the cheek, causing me to blush even deeper.
I just wish Aly was here so I could talk to her, tell her about everything I've been going through.
Day Three: Holy Shit
Okay, so I just saw my sister's ghost and I'm freaking out. I don't know why, but it's scaring me to death. I should be excited but I wasn't expecting to see my sister again.
I was laying down on my bed, reading a article when all of a sudden I heard a giggle. I looked around, and saw my sister's ghost sitting in my pink chair. Alyson! What the hell?! I heard the giggle again, and I pinched myself. Wake up, Albany. This is only a dream, I thought, pinching myself one more time. Alyson didn't go anywhere.
Hello, Albany. I've been watching yours and Benjamin's little romance, Alyson said, giggling. She looked at me one more time, her face now serious. I have been sent back here to protect you.
From who? I replied, squinting my eyes.
From my murderer.
That 3 letter sentence set goosebumps all over me. I was speechless, until I finally croaked out dryly, Okay.
Alyson walked, well floated, over to me, laying beside me. Albany, you have to promise me that you will never tell anyone that I'm back...
I won't Aly.
Good. Sorry, but I have to search for a new body.. Love you Alby.

And then she disappeared into the sunlight, floating away. I bit my lip. She was sent to protect me?! From her murderer... Who killed her, anyways?, I thought, sighing and plopping down into my pink chair and reading another book.
I'm so confused about all of this. -
