I laughed. When I heard him trip on the stairs.

I heard her laughing, I didn't really care though, I hoped the police wouldn't stop at this house

Thankfully they passed us and left the street within an hour. "They're gone."

I came back down the stairs, and looked over at her, "forget I ever tried to kill you" I quietly said

I raised my eyebrows. "You tried to kill me? When?" I joked.

I didn't say anything for a minute, "I-In your sleep, but I was caught by whoever was with you" I quietly said, I felt horrible for doing that

I paused for a moment, unsure of what to say. Then I laughed. "I was cracking a joke. I knew you tried to kill me at the dance and all, so that actually didn't surprise me!"

I went silent and stared at her, but then I sat down on a couch, I didn't want to get up, for a while

I wondered what to do with him just sitting there. "Want something to drink?"

"no" I quietly said, I was sick of having the mask on for a while, I took it off, I hoped she wouldn't care about the scar I had, I also couldn't see well from that eye anymore

I stared at his scar, then looked away. It was rude to stare. I went and got myself a Doctor Pepper.

I didn't notice that she was looking at it, I was trying to rest

It didn't look like he noticed. It got awkwardly silent, so I went to the kitchen and ate a giant ice cream tub.

I saw her eating a lot of icecream, I didn't really want any though

It was yummy.
