I smile. "Wow, I wonder if our parents would recognize each other!" I laughed. My meister, Isamu, tapped my shoulder. "Hey, Lord Death wants to see us," he said. I nod (hey is death the kid the new lord death now?). "Oh, and you two better come with your partners as well."

I walked with Mei, Rose, Isamu, Lee, and his partner to Lord Death's office.

Rose and Mei followed to Death's office, Mei with a slightly hesitant pace, while Rose looked serious and walked a step ahead of her partner.

I follow behind Mei at a moderate pace with Naomi soiling gleefully beside me

When we stepped inside, Lord Death was sitting with some papers. "Oh, you're all here. Great, I have an assignment for the lot of you."
