Since I speak a different Spanish, I wasn't expecting to interact so much with the Chileans and Argentineans of dA.
But ironically those are the only people who I actually talk to in Spanish. :o (except for this one other Mexican chick, but she doesn't really count seeing it's not regular talking.)
And then the biggest bullshit of all is knowing that we understand each other. :O They understand when I say "Lo siento" instead of "Disculpame", and I understand when they say "Es Sarpado!" instead of "Es buenisimo!"
Well, that's Argentineans. As for the Chileans I talk to, their Spanish is about the same. Also, not as friendly as those from Argentina, but still friendly. xD
My point in this was that it wasn't expected that dA brought me close to people I wouldn't have otherwise known.. Like here on GTQ. :o

A gringo is an informal/offensive way of saying someone is cacausian or from an English speaking country.

Gringos are Americans, that's how you call them in Mexico. xD Supposedly it's supposed to be offensive, but we all use it.
