Because my parents/other friends don't know about GTQ and wouldn't know who you people are and then they'd assume I'm an idiot for friending people from online 3: there's only one way I could get around them thinking I'm weird. . . But it probably wouldn't work. XP

@Kat if I got subscribers on YouTube. I could make a video asking them what social network things they'd want me to make and if some said Facebook I could do something reasonable like I'll give it out a 50 subscribers! :) my parents wouldn't object to that because I could say they're from yt and I'm not giving out my address or anything.
