I'm down with that.

Alright. :3 Feel free to make your character.

Okie.
-
Name: Rhine Peterson
Age: 20
I'll get the pic momentarily.
So anything else I need to know before we start this?
oh and not it. -
Not really. Just that it's in a corporate setting and the two of them meet on the job.

Walker made his way through the busy hallways, his hands full of new stories hot off the press. He'd have to run them by his boss later to see if any could pass the meticulous inspections that Dr. Jenkins was notorious for. If he was to maintain any hopes for a promotion or even a raise, Walker would have to get on his good side. This would be no problem for the dapper young man. With his charm and way with words, he was sure that he'd grow on Jenkins. It would only take a matter of time... And a lot of writing.
-
Rhine walked up to the receptionist desk inside The New York Journal."Hello,"she said in her trademark quiet tone,"I'm here for the, uh, internship."
The receptionist glanced up," Yes, and your name is?"
"Rhine. Rhine Peterson."
Tapping a few letters into her computer, the receptionist handed her a name tag and directed her to Dr. Jenkins office, saying,"He'll tell you what to do." -
Hello?
-
The young man turned to the left, rounding a final corner before reaching Dr. Jenkins' office. He knocked twice before a muffled, "Come in," could be heard through the wooden door. Walker obliged, opening the door and walking into the large office. It was roomy, and comfortable. The nearest wall housed a shelf of plaques and recognition awards. By the deep mahogany desk there were two cushioned seats. The man behind the desk lounged in the large, leather chair. He nodded at the young man, signaling for him to take a seat.
"Mr. Douglas," the elder said. "What do you have for me today?"
Walker nodded curtly, offering a tight smile. "I've got an assortment of stories ranging from the upcoming festivals, the internet blackout, and the current outlook on the nation's economy. I've also written a special piece about the recent charity scams that have surfaced." The chestnut haired man stood and presented his boss with the thick portfolio of papers.
Wise blue eyes scanned over the sheets briefly, weighing them a bit. "Ah, yes. Very well. I'll be back to you about these shortly. You're dismissed."
Walker nodded once more before turning and walking towards the door. He opened it and stepped out into the hallway, only to be thrown off balance by another person, was it? -
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Please tell me you're okay."Rhine said quickly. She needed to get to Dr. Jenkins, but it would have to wait.
-
Walker steadied himself and chuckled. "Yes, yes, I'm fine." He glanced at the girl, eyes sparkling. "I haven't seen you around here before. Are you the new intern everyone's been buzzing about?"
-
Rhine glanced at her watch, thinking,"Oh crap, I was supposed to be in his office five minutes ago."
"Umm, yes."she answered,"I'm Rhine,by the way, but I need to get going."
She looked at her watch again, another minute gone by.
"Oh who am I kidding? I have no idea where I'm going."
