Okay, sad topic generator. Fire away!
-
Actually, I had this plot idea that may or may not be sad. It's about this sitcom, but the actors in the show also have relationship off the air. The drama's about a straight guy who has a gay roommate and a girl friend. He slowly starts to realize that he may not be straight after all, but after he falls head over heels for his roommate, he finds out his wife is pregnant. It's all about their struggles. And then, behind the scenes, the two actors actually fall in love. It's about their battle to keep it secret from the public and whatnot.

Ooh, I like it! :D

So, we'd do the behind the scenes in regular stuff and the show in italics. There will obviously be more characters, but they'll build around the main two. It takes place in NYC, by the way. So, charries.

I'll be the openly gay one.
-
Okay.
-
(Copy and paste; it works.)
Name: Blaine
Age: 21
Other: Flamboyant, openly gay. Humorous, outgoing, yet shy and reserved around strangers. Has been harassed because of his sexuality before. -
Name: Cody
Age: 23 -
Oh and not it.

Okay, so I think it would be suiting to start with the first script reading, right?
Blaine sat at the large rectangular table, taking in his castmates. They would all be working on a new television drama series, 'Joviality'. The director, Chandler Kurtis, handed out thick packets which contained the screenplay and lines for all of season one.
"Alright, folks. Welcome to 'Joviality'. It's nice to have you all aboard. We're just going to do a cold reading. You'll all read your respective parts. Ignore the annotations for now; we'll add those in on set. Whenever you're ready."
Blaine cleared his throat, scanning down the page. He was to play a 21 year old, freshly out of college. His same was to be Brandon, and he would be playing an openly gay boy. That wouldn't be such a stretch, seeing as this character was basically him with a different label. His roommate would be Christopher, played by Cody.
Pilot: Scene One
Brandon walks into the television room with two beers and plops down on the couch next to Chris. They had been roommates for a few months now.
BRANDON: (Hands beer to Chris) Here. Some alcohol will do you some good. Tough day, hm? It was for me. My fashion line is going absolutely nowhere.
(We'll actually type out the script in that sort of a format, unless you'd rather type it out in a story sort of way.) -
(It's fine. And sorry if it isn't as funny as possible, this isn't really my sense of humor.)
Christopher: Yeah. Thanks. And really, it isn't? -
(I don't care. It doesn't really have any real requirements.)
Brandon: Nope. Vogue turned it down for the umpteenth time. My life's going nowhere. And how about you? How's your girlfriend? -
I have to go. Night.
-
Goodnight. I'll talk to you in the morning.

Wanna continue this?
