"Like....what am I doing? I'm sorry sir- I mean Alec, but I don't comprehend what your saying. I never finished school, I'm pretty stupid." I sit on my bed and put my knees to my chest, my arms wrapped around my legs.

"Didn't you finish school?" I asked curiously sitting next to her, "Maybe...maybe you could do home schooling with me..if you'd like to?"

I scoot over a bit, "Alec, I get paid to get you what you want. Not to get what I want, which is an education. Now if you'd excuse me, I need to finish dusting the shelves in the guest room." I stood up and grabbed the duster....

I grabbed her hand and pulled her back, "Allie, why are you doing this? Why do you want to work for my family?" I held her hand tight and stared directly into her gorgeous green eyes

I stare into Alec's frozen blue eyes, for a second there I couldve sworn I was being hypmotized. I start talking really fast and my voice becomes loud, screaming more like. "I'm not working for your family, I'm working to get money for mine. My mother and little sister are at home, starving to death, living in a house that will fall down any second. Do you expect me to watch that happen? To watch my family tear apart? My family needs me. Don't make me quit on my first day, because that's the last thing I need to happen!" I just stand there, letting hopeless tears run down my cheeks.

I quickly wrapped my arms around her, "Allie, your such a strong strong girl. Shhh...don't cry" I said soothingly running my fingers through her soft hair. I couldn't stand seeing her upset, "Don't cry..I'm here for you Allie...I'm hear"

I let him wrap his arms around me, he's saying I'll be ok. But wht do I feel like I'm not? I feel like I just lost everything I've ever lived for. "Please don't fire me...." I whisper.

"I won't...I won't...I don't think I ever could..." I said holding her tight. "I'm not gonna let you go..." I said soothingly

I stand there, a waterfall still rolling from my eyes. "Thank you....Alec. *Sniff* W-What do you want me to do now?"

"I want you to stay here with me..and thats an order" I said looking at her and giving her a smile, I used one of my fingers to wipe away her tears
