"I'm fine" I said and sat up. I smiled at her and stood up.

I smiled back at him, "No pain?"

"Well yeah but I'm cool. We should get out of here"

I nodded my head, "We should hurry"

I pulled out my pocket knife just in case. I looked from the left to the right trying to figure out where to go. I nodded at her and ran to the right.

I ran and followed him, I clutched the pocket knife tightly. It won't do much harm but it might help me...hopefuly

The ally lead us to a street. I saw my home and ran to it. I rushed her inside and began to lock all the doors and windows.

I looked around the house, "Nice place" I looked in the fridge, it was full of food, at least we won't starve to death.
I got out my phone. 2 unread messages
message 1 from Ally
Hey Nashira!
Its me, Ally, can't wait to go to that concert with you. See you soon
message 2 from mom
Nashira! Don't come home! Get somewhere safe and stay there! -
"Thanks" I walked to the fridge and set some food out.

I stared at the messages. They could be dead, gone, I would never see them again.
All I have left of them are those 2 messages. Ally would never stand a chance with whatever is going on out there..and mom.
I leaned against the wall and sighed sadly -

"You okay?" I asked her. I tore open a thing of mountain dew and glanced at her.

"Yeah...I-I'm fine" I said slowly closing the phone and tucking it into my pocket. "I-I'm al-alright"
