  ur a nice person ^.^
  
  This warmth covering my body,
  I feel it all go numb.
  I think of nothing,
  and everything,
  all at once.
  Would I be lying
  to say I'm desperate to survive?
  I know I would,
  but that is irrelevant now.
  Looking up,
  I'll see the shadow.
  A shadow cast even in this pitch black.
  The light is nowhere,
  but the shadow is present.
  Ever present.
  You are a shadow now,
  aren't you?
  A heartless.
  And yet here you are,
  clasping at my cold hands,
  crying your eyes out,
  like the weakling you are.
  I watch, astounded,
  as your fingers intertwine with mine.
  As you drag me out, inch by inch.
  Pull me from the darkness,
  carry me away.
  The roof crumbles above us,
  raining death and mournful truths upon us.
  I don't see a way out of this,
  but at least we can be trapped,
  here, in death, together.
  We can be weak together,
  two birds suffocating in the clouds,
  fish drowning in the watr that once let them breathe.
  We will die weak.
  But we will die now,
  and we will die together.
  Your eyes gleam with hope,
  then fade to nothing in front of me.
  I saw it coming from the beginning.
  A premonition of sorts.
  You're long gone now.
  I will soon follow,
  but for now, I lay,
  crying for my loss.
  I think nothing of how you must feel,
  and you're the one who's dead.
  My body broken,
  my spirit more so,
  I wait for merciful death to take me to where you are,
  my limbs circling around you.
  And all the while,
  all I can think of
  is how ungrateful I am.

  I think so. I read a few, and it made me want to write this one. So I did..
