  Brother: It's just that you're auditioning for the big showcase and it's better to quit now than after completely humiliating yourself. You're a horrible singer, Alana. Face it.

  Father: I'd appreciate it if you'd stop singing too... I'm trying to do taxes and quite frankly, I think my ear's starting to bleed.
