So, I want to be the artist/writer of my own manga, though the style I aim for is more Shounen then anything (Basically boyish type fiction). Do you think I will have trouble as a female in that industry and should use a pen name, or have we possibly gotten past such major prejudices?

You know what, screw it. If some stupid sexist cares that much about my name and gender, and not the content and quality, screw tham. >:3
