I smile. "So, how have you survived for the past years?"

"hmm, well, I kind of have connections with animals." I said. "I know, strange, right?"

"Well, I actually think its cool. I mean, it would get you someone to hang with, as well as food."

"yeah, they also helpped me find the water and berries."

"That's awesome," I said. "I wish I could do that. All I can do is shoot an arrow and skin an animal.

"that's awesome, because I could never really hurt an animal." I said.

I nod. "It was hard at first, but I kinda got used to it. And I don't shoot animals unless I'm out of food."

"oh." I said.

"Yeah," I said. I take her hands again. "Well, I have a deer almost completely skinned and I would rather I got it instead of a bear, so you want to come with me?"

"y-yes. I would." I replied.

"Okay, c'mon." I smiled and pulled her along beside me.

I was pulled along Side by him. I blush a little.

I like the warmth of our hands together, it comforts me, assuring me I'm not the only one left.

When Tobais's hand is grasped around me, I don't feel lonely anymore. I would cry myself to sleep everyday at night.
