If you're still there... I blame my teacher.
My friend and I were talking about the last dance of the school year, and I decided that any boy would have to be absolutely desperate to ask me to dance. My music teacher overheard me and decided to rant to me about how I'm actually a beautiful person and a guy should be lucky to have me. So I took this meaningfully and happily went to the dance.
When I got there, I would occasionally ask a boy to dance with the charm that only I have. I was rejected each time. Finally, a guy asked me to dance. Turned out he was using me. I was a huge joke to the only guys interested in me.
On top of that, my friend blamed me because nobody danced with her. -
