I dived in after her and started swimming quickly. She didn't know it, but my wings would provide me an extra advantage. I used them to push me forward more.

I know it was mean but when he started beating me a thought hit me...what he do if I drowned. So thats what I did, I started pretending to drown. I was curious of what his reaction would be..

I looked back at her. She was gone. "Where?" then I dived down into the water, fear clutching my heart. I spotted her and wrapped my arms tightly around her, being her onto the shore once again.

But then I realised...I was drowning...I wasn't pretendin, I was actually drowning, I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't, I felt myself sliping away slowly....

I got her out of the water and onto dry land. "Lara? Lara, can you hear me? Lara?"

I could hear Rixon's voice, he sounded so distant and far away, I tried to say his name but my mouth didn't even move, his voice was going away, fading away...

I started to do mouth to mouth, cause that's the only thing I could think to do. I hoped it helped.

I could feel myself comming back slowly, my eyes slowly fluttered open as air entered my lungs, "R-rixon?" I said softly

"Oh thank god!" I pulled her against me in a tight hug. "Thank god, you're alive."

I hugged him back, "Yeah....I-I think...I should have mentioned that I-I can't...swim" I said softly

"Yes, you should've mentioned that. God, Lara. You scared the living hell out of me."

"I know...I'm so sorry love" I said hugging him, I saw a light flickering in the trees, shining brighter and brighter
(This is when she could get kidnapped when she walks into the woods) -
I stroked her hair, burying my face in it. "Well, the good thing is you're alive, I murmured.

"I won't die on you I promise...." I said, I felt like I needed to go to that light, it was as if it was calling me

I continued hugging her. I didn't ever want to let go.
