At lunchtime, I headed back in so he could charge the rest of the day.

I walked over to Xander's door and knocked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch..." I looked down slightly, a faint blush coming to my cheeks.

I smiled up at him. "So you want I eat out or..."

"We can eat in my room, if that's okay?"

"Or we could go out?" I blushed redder. I didn't know how to do this.

I smiled back at him and blushed even harder.

"Uh, well, what kind of food do you like?"

"Italian? Pizza, to be exact?"

"Okay." I moved to the side so he could walk out of the room.

I walked down the stairs. "What kind of car do you have?" I didn't really want to drive my u-haul to town.

"Um, yeah."

I got inside. "Uh, by one of the clothing stores downtown. I'll tell you when I see it."

I watched out the window for the restaurant.

I looked over at him and blushed. "Sorry. I spend too much time with machines. I don't talk much. Um, how old are you?"
