I heard a knock on the door, I got up and opened it.

He smiled faintly.

I smiled. "Hey." I said and kissed his cheek.

He smiled more, but remembered the things the two people had said. The smile stayed on his face by force.

I opened the door a bit more. "Wanna come in?" -
"Sure." He nodded, stepping into the house.

I smiled again and closed the door.

He followed her inside, remembering the dagger. It couldn't be true, could it? He pulled it from his back pocket quietly and poked his fingertip. Nothing happened. He hadn't felt anything, at least. He gently poked her back to see if she'd react, then shoved it back in his pocket.

I felt something sharp poke my back. What the hell...? I turned around to look at him.

"Hm?" He looked at her, all innocence. So... she did feel it...

I tilted my head to the side slightly, but let it slide. "Nothing..." I said. What. The. Hell?

What if they're right? What if she was planning to kill him, and then many other members of the human race? She definitely was an angel. Or a demon.

I looked at him. What is up with him? "Are you alright? You seem...tense..."

"I'm fine." He smiled.
