Estothia sat on a park bench, drinking in the last rays of Sun before it left the sky for some much needed sleep. Of course, she knew the Sun wasn't really sleeping, but it was a nice thought. Long day of keeping the Earth warm, and a long night of rest. -

Carter was under a tree in the park, waiting for the sun to disappear. He never did like it, and couldn't wait for nightfall. -

Mateo was pushing Valentino on the swing set, panting as he grew tired. Many times he asked if he could get his turn, but Valentino would snap and tell him no. It wasn't fair, either, Valentino was heavier than him. -
Lina was digging a hole beside a tree, she wanted to find a couple of worms to scare her friend Eli with.
Eli sat on the treebranch, looking down at her arse of a friend, debating whether to jump off and mush her into the dirt, or slip off and leave, ditching her there while she went to the local mall. -
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1......" she counted down the seconds until the Sun was officially gone and the moon ruled the sky.

Lina is a dwarf and she's digging a hole. *shot*
Carter noticed the people around, but didn't say anything. He didn't like talking to people, especially since they always bullied him or ignored him anyway. -

"Valentiiinnnoo deja meee..." he whined, and the other only rolled his eyes. "No, not until I get bored," he said. Mateo pouted. "But you wonnn'tt!" -

Eli decided to make a break for it, just as she was about to, she felt something squirming on her shoulder, it was a worm. Eli shrieked like never before, quickly pushed it off and took a huge leap off the tree and started running so fast that all you could see was a blur.
Meanwhile, Lina was laughing her ass off on the ground as her friend ran off, then suddenly, splot. the worm fell on her forhead, "Eww.." Lina whined, plopping it on the ground beside her. -
As soon as the Sun disappeared, someone screamed from somewhere else in the park. Estothia nearly jumped out of her seat, it being so sudden. But it was a good motivator to get going.

Carter got up, walking in the shadows back toward his house. Not like anyone would be home anyway, so what would the rush be for? He passed the old house on a hill, and the story of that legend he heard long ago came back to mind. "So supposedly a little boy whom believes he's Satan lives in there, huh?" He mumbled to himself, laughing lightly at the end. He looked up again, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Well, I have nothing else better to do. Let's see if Satan's really as bad as they say." And so he walked up to the house. -
"Valentino, I heard someone scream!" Mateo whined. "Big brother! Big brother! I heard--"
The older of the two glared at him with his bright green eyes and yelled, directly at his face, "I don't give a fuck Mateo, screw off if you're going to whine all day."
Mateo pouted and stayed in his place. -
Eli--her hair somewhat out of place and covered in tears- hid behind a different tree, trying to stop sobbing, she was terrified of bugs and everything creepy crawly.
Lina sat by the tree, 'She'll be back eventually' she thought, not knowing how furious Eli really was. -
On her way home, she passed the old house as usual. But this time was different. There was a person acually going inside. Was he crazy? Did he live there?
