"Don't you think we deserve a bit more then that? Ya know, for risking our lives to do your dirty work while you sat here being useless as s---?" I said, spitting the last part.

"Useless?! I've been planning a raid on the Baron's palace."

I narrowed my eyes. "You and what army?"

"The Rebels. The scouts. The Traitors. Whatever you call them."

I sighed. "Let him go." I said. "I want in."

I felt my claws retract, tearing some of his skin- falling to my knees and turning human.

"So, where is this place to stay?" I asked Hex as I helped Dexter stand up.

"Well..." he started.

"Well what?" I said, ready to attack him again.

I pulled Alex closer to me, so she wouldn't lose it. "You can stay in the back."

"Thanks" I said coldly. I pulled away from Dexter and headed to the back without another word.

Hex stayed writing on maps with his weird language, and I followed Alex silently.

I walked into the room. It was a normal room with a few beds. I plopped down on one, closing my eyes.

"You okay?" I whispered.

I opened one eye. "Yeah just...tired."
