Eric went to class. Was she mad about that? It's not like he didn't like them or anything...

Lianne was in full mean mode. She tried to trip me in English class.I said,"Really? I think the tripping comes before you decide to kiss my boyfriend."

Yay, Science. Even though class was the least of Eric's priorities, he was still top student.

That hit a nerve in her but she didn't say anything. I didn't see Eric until lunch.

Finally, lunch came and Eric saw Ashley. "Hey."

"Hi Eric."

"How's today been so far?"

"Fine. You?" I thought,"Overly easy, I suppose."

"Fine. To be honest though, I actually do wish I was there with Jacob and Robin. Just a little. I'm not sure if this would be the last..." Eric's words trailed off.

"The last what?" I felt sad for keeping him from them.

"Well, the reason they were going back was because Dad decided to change his will. And when he does that, we're not sure if he knows something's about to happen." Eric paused. "Mom was actually pretty healthy, so it was a surprise she died giving birth to Joyce. But Dad was never quite healthy. When Mom died it only got worse. So we kids are never quite sure."

"I'm not going back." Not that I can, without you anyway.
