She walked into her cabin and smelled the air, damp, musty, if air could take a shower this room would need it smell. and it was even worse considering her acute sense of smell. she smelled again and found a vampire scent under all the musk, maybe the one she smelled on the beach? she could tell that they were the only two vampires in this hell hole. but she probably wouldn't be staying in this cabin for long. she wouldnt care if a fire burned this place to the ground. She had learned alot from epidemics, plagues, and disasters. more panicked people, more prey. less detection. if you killed the president on any normal day that would be bad news, but if you killed the president in an outbreak of deadly desises almost no one would notice.

I walked back to the cabin. I was startled when I saw Skyler inside. "Oh, hey. I thought you'd still be at dinner."

"not that food, hey haven't i saw you before?" she could tell, it was her! she had been the one on the beach.

"Yeah, of course you have. We may not be in here often, but we share a cabin..."

Skyler thought. 'Coincidence? Not likely" she had seen who ran this stuff, grown ups who knew too much. she could see it, their eyes squinting, there eyes beedy, their backs a little too straight. it didnt add up to her

I sat down on my bed and pretended to yawn. "Well, I'm tired, so..."

"im not" she extended her fangs and laughed.

I stared at her. "Um, okay then..." I murmured. I hadn't known she was a vampire...

"you mean you cant detect my scent?" Skyler asked

"My nose has been a little stuffed up lately..." I rubbed it a bit and sneezed.

"its probably the air" she said

"Probably."

" so how did you end up here?" she had never met another vampire that HADNT tried to kill her

"I don't remember. I kinda just ended up here."

me to, but i dont like it here. i want to get out." Skyler said.
