I know people with birthdays on the 3rd, 4th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 20th, 24th, and 31st of December. And three of those are people in my family. I also know two people who were born on January 1st, and one of them was in the year 2000 XD

Hi! Guys, sorry that I am late with replying. Yeah that was probably it, Collins, as it has changed to Junior now. Yeah I don't know what we will do when we all progress lol. Yeah you are right Jo, I realized that I was overreacting when I thought about it. Everyone thinks of things like that. And I might have without realizing it, found an idea for my quizzes off other people's. It's not on purpose, its just your mind has a tendency to remember things and then think it was your own idea. Thankyou.
Btw, Have you watched Mom's Night out? Its a really good movie.
I had to tell myself to type Mom's instead of Mum's in here. Because over here we spell it Mum.
Anyway, I will go now. Might send something later. My 'are you ready' quiz got to the front page. yaya! I think if I think of any more ideas I will make more. I will have to think though
Also I am working on a new book. So wish me luck! The other one needs more editing before I either decide to send it off to be published or self-publish it!
I hope you all have an awesome day! Cya! -
I have not seen Mom's Night Out. I'll have to check it out! I don't care if you say mom or mum. I watch a lot of British people, so I don't mind mum.
I just made a poll yesterday! It's about Thanksgiving, but I gave some explanation, so you can take it, or not :) -
Today is Thanksgiving!! The house smells so yummy right now. People either have their Thanksgiving meal for dinner or lunch. We always have it for lunch. Or some people also have it in the middle of the afternoon, and just snack on stuff until then.

Hi! Wow, that sounds like lots of fun! Right now it is 7:44 am. So goodmorning, I just woke up. In Australia not very many people celebrate Thanksgiving. We don't, I actually don't even know what it is about, honestly. I think the only people in Australia that celebrate it are people from America, but I could be wrong, just because I don't know any people.
I hope you have heaps of fun! I will be sure to check out your poll, I will go and do that, right now! -
I voted, though I wasn't really sure, what to vote. I voted they are so yummy, though I just realized just then that turkey isn't my favourite. Oh well. Anyways, what else do you have for thanksgiving meals. I would love to hear more about it. What is Thanksgivng about, why do you celebrate Thanksgiving?
-
So, by my understanding, when people first started settling in America, they did not know how the environment worked, so the stuff they tried to plant that worked in Europe did not flourish there. And there was one winter in particular where a lot of people died from starvation and diseases they were unfamiliar with. The Native Americans hadn't been super friendly to them previously, since they were invading their land, but one of them (I forget his name) was kind and showed the settlers how to plant things that grew well, like corn. That year, at the harvest, the settlers and the Native Americans came together and had a feast, which we would call the first Thanksgiving. So now we celebrate it every year on the fourth Thursday of November by eating a very large meal with family and/or friends, and a lot of families will go around the table, and everyone will say something they're thankful for. Dishes that might be found in a Thanksgiving spread include turkey or ham (as the main event), mashed potatoes, stuffing/dressing (depending on where you're from), cranberry sauce, gravy, sweet potato (yam) casserole, broccoli bake, green bean casserole, rolls/cornbread, autumn salad (or at least my family does), mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, and many pies (pumpkin, pecan, chocolate, or literally anything else). If you don't know what some of those things are, I would be happy to explain.
This year, we had smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, broccoli bake, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls, kale salad, stuffing, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, and chocolate pie. We always eat our big meal at lunch, and if you're hungry by dinner, you can eat leftovers. -
Do you guys have any major holidays (like Thanksgiving) that other countries don't really celebrate?
-
Oh, I forgot about corn. People prepare it so many different ways.
-
Also, the day after Thanksgiving is called Black Friday, and it's basically where stuff everywhere is a lot on sale (like 50% or whatever). But the sales nowadays are on for the week, or even the whole month. People like to start their Christmas shopping then.
-
Wow! That sounds like so much fun! No Australia doesn't really celebrate any other holidays that other countries don't. Well except Australia day!
How was bowling Jo?
Oh yeah. We kind of celebrate Black Friday, though no-one here knows what it is about, its just a time where shops have sales, that's literally al I know about it -
What day is Australia day?
Bowling was soooooo fun! I have been before, it's just been, like, eight years since I have.
We just put up our Christmas decorations!!! And it just dumped a foot of snow, so perfect timing, I guess XD
Do you guys in Australia actually go for Christmas swims like in Bluey? -
Hi!
So Australia day is on the 26th of January. Not everyone celebrates it anymore, but we do. We don't really get snow in Australia, especially where I live. I have never seen snow in my life, and neither has my Mum, My Dad has though.
Yeah Christmas swims, sometimes. It depends, if we are at the beach then of course.
We always have waterbomb fights on Christmas, Mum and Dad always get us waterbombs, and we have water guns and just throw water at each other, it turns wild but so fun!
What do you guys do on christmas? -
