Chat my muma got me a Jinx figurine for my birthday
It’s so cool I love it -
Everyone shut up my papa gave me some dead bees from the garden omg
-
They were already dead when he found them. I’ve got three and they’re all about the size of a small nail. 1 is yellow but mainly black, yellow hairs on the thorax and small yellow lines on the abdomen, with large wings (one on each side). The second and third are also mainly a lighter brown/black but both have green lines on the abdomen and two smaller wings on each side and have brown eyes and white fluffy legs
-
I pinned a wasp to practice to I can pin the beed correctly
-
They’re a bit brittle so will be hard to properly pin but I wanna be able to get a proper look. And since they’re relatively small too
-
Once I finish studying them I’ll make them little graves in the garden
-
I’m actually not as cooked as I initially thought chat
In half of my classes the teachers just don’t want us to hand in a draft even thats what the syllabus says so I don’t get feedback which is pissing me off -
And I have assignments in all of my classes except Spanish which is so weird
I’m going to continue with Spanish until I graduate
My Spanish teacher this year is actually so nice I love her. She’s straightforward and (Argentinian so that helps a lot) actually really progressive so she told me that “Spain is a very diverse country so if you wanted to say something like “Soy listo”, you could say “liste” or “listex”” which I love -
Wybie from Coraline is so me
-
initially i was ending everything with an o in spanish (eg "listo", "generoso") when describing myself instead of a (eg "lista", "generosa") because a is girl and o is boy but now i can be quirky and differently gendered

Oh Vincent Van Gogh
He was such a complex man, I don’t know what it is, he’s just so fascinating to me. My personal favourites of his works are his “Self Portrait with a Bandaged Ear” and “The Potato Eaters”
He’s comforting to me. His life was a tragedy and he most likely went Mad. He cut off his ear in an breakdown and painted Starry Night in an asylum. He was a social outcast, his parents were disappointed in him, none of his loves ended well to the point he believed love simply wouldn’t work out for him and that it wasn’t written in his stars. I think that’s comforting because I think a little like he thought, and yet he was still remembered, even if he won’t ever know it, because nobody in his life loved him. That’s so tragic, I’d hate to be so unappreciated in life, only loved after committing su*cide.
He did a couple bad things (eg attacking his friend with a razor) but he was so mentally tortured, and got so famous after death to the point everyone thinks of him as a great painter, not a tortured artist -
his brother, Theo Van Gogh, loved him, he funded everything for him, and after Vincent died his health declined rapidly and he died less than a year after him
-
Vincent wrote 633 letters to him. I feel like we disregard our sibling’s love for us because they’re our family and it’s the default they love us, but if they love us their entire lives despite everything bad they know we’ve done, it means so much. Sibling relationships always kill me
-
I can’t imagine how horrid it would have been for Theo too, watching his brother whom he loved so much deteriorate and practically go Mad, unable to do anything about it
-
Yeah. If you ever are able to go to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, I highly recommend. My mom went last year and brought me a ton of s--- since she knows he's my favorite artist
