A Rift in the Void
Thread Topic: A Rift in the Void
You have to do all of it
Like all of it all of it?
Yep! Sometimes i get help for like names and areas but otherwise its all me
Ok that's a lot
But isn't that kind of cheating if you know all the enemy encounters and what you have to do to avoid them? What determines the enemy encounters?
Nope because im not playing! Im just guidingnthem and acting as the enemys and npcs
I usually just put enemys where i think the should go, or have them show up from the players actions(for example, making a lot of noise in the cultist hidout)
Sooooo you're just the narrator (plus enemies and nps)
So what are the dice for
bruh the dice are for everything
Want to climb a wall?
Roll a dex check
Sneak past that guard?
Want to stab the guard?
WUT. FOR EVERYTHING?
Do the dice determine what you say, or only what you do?
Not what you say, but it can effect the reactions to your words. For example, you can roll a persuasion to try to lower the prices at a shop
Or intimidation to scare the s--- out of someone
Oh great dnd is just complicated isn't it.
What do you roll if you're trying to tame a wild animal?
And yeah, it gets complicated lol
There's a dice for animal handling?!
OK TIME TO FIND AN ACTION THAT THERE ISN'T A DICE FOR
How badly your character is injured?
That would be your enemys attack and damage rolls
Convincing the enemy that you are one of them, they just haven't met you yet?
