I definitely understand. I always feel the same way, and I especially want to hear it from my parents so that I know I'm doing well as their child. Humans can't live without some sort of validation. It's another form of love, and that's probably why we need it.
With that said, I am very proud of you. You work very hard even when you don't feel like you can, and you do so much to take care of yourself. I admire that. -
