Technically a monitor can be someone who watches over something. Typically, monitors don't do anything about problems, they just watch over them. Moderators watch over something and enforce rules and regulations, answer questions, and resolve issues.
Respect is earned.
Yes, you don't have to like someone to respect them. But if you don't like someone because they're being an arse, then you're not obligated to respect them. They don't earn it. Right? -

this is why we need to baby you. when we're not here, a lot of you guys get into petty arguments, try to pry and gripe at us, spam, and do other annoying bulls--- that makes you look like children. dark isn't going to answer you if she doesn't want to, or maybe she's busy, so you should just give it up for now

That's where it's a mix up. I am joking with them- "Monitor" has two meanings. She got it right, yes- Though, I was not arguing. I am simply joking around trying to lighten up this dampening atmosphere.
