The anthem was composed by Francis Scott Key in 1812 when he was held captive by 1 of the countries the us was fighting. When he was released from prison and he left the building the only flag that was still flying was that of America!
Congratulations to the winner and now whoever submitted 1970 can submit a question and all the viewers myself included will have 5 minutes to answer. The person closest can think of the next question and so on and so forth!
