Thread Topic: Could I get clarification?
-
I've been stalking today, like most people do, and I've seen this new rule on 'no smut' in soaps or RP's. Who said that we can't do that now? Was it GTQ guy?
-
Where did you see that?
-
There's a thread about it in the Feedback and Updates forum.

The mods decided that it'd be best if there wasn't any smut or NSFW or any other sexually explicit content on the site because it might get the site in legal trouble. A lot of the people participating in this stuff are minors and it counts as underage sex and child p---, according to Dark.
-
Okay, thank you, Br0wnies.
-
That's kinda stupid, but I can see where they're coming from. But how is it our fault if the kids decide to be stupid and get involved in that s---?
-
It isn't our fault, but it's better to be safe than sorry, right?
-
True. I was going to bring up the rules of gtq, but there is no point. I mean, yes anything sexual wasn't allowed to begin with, but it was still posted, just like gtq is supposed to be for ages 15+. Not criticizing anyone under the recommended, but if you know the rules of gtq, and see stuff like that to begin with, why not report it?
-
I don't wanna sound like I'm arguing, because I agree with it. I'm just curious.
-
If you're asking about people posting smut until now, they probably didn't think it counted as cybersex until it was brought up by the moderators. Since they themselves weren't the ones pretending to have sex, and it was just their characters, they most likely thought it was okay. It wasn't their fault for not knowing before then, but they can't make up any excuses now.
-
Ok. So smut qualifies as anything sexual, I get that. Dumb 5 year old question, would kissing qualify as smut?
-
No.
-
>gtq got boring asf
That's all to the rule itself. -
Ok, all cleared up. Thank you.
