Mechanical is good, but don't press down hard. Mechanical is a personal favorite of mine, but do get sketching pencils to finalize the sketch. I like graphite to make my lines darker.
To make things darker with mechanical, just run over the same space over and over. It's tedious but helps the over all look. -
Mechanical is better. It's easy to draw thin ones. I use normal pencils though.
For me, there is NO bad arts, but only NOT THAT GOOD arts which I mean, it leans to good a little bit.
No offense. Tbh, I like your creativity. -
I often fail at drawing. I use erasers too much. When I'm finished, I look down to the photo, try taking a picture. If I consider it's a fail, I'll learn from that mistake. If I consider it's a success, I'll keep going to draw the harder ones. The more complicated, the harder.

A lot of my sketches are rough honestly
-
I have few works that I'm legitimately proud of
-
Can you explain why you think there's only "good arts"?
-
Woops, I meant to put *"not that good arts"
-
I'm proud of all even if it fails in the eyes of others, because art, to me, is about taking failure and making it beautiful.
a lot of my work has the thick lines because it became part of my style.. but most of it's free hand so I guess at a lot of things
I'll try using softer lines from now on -
Here I'll show you an example of thick lines that I use
-
That'd be appreciated, thank you.
-
I actually draw two versions of this
This one first
And this about two hours later
-
I see.
-
Like I said, I use graphite. Nice, soft, dark, thick lines. Perfect for shading as well
-
First is too small. Two is complicated (because it's small). Three is the lines you draw is too thick. Fourth is your lines aren't straight or curve enough, it's like waves.
Ahem, you need to put some grammar into your sentences yo.

Good job mate
