Yes. My skell actually went to hell on the way back to the monster because I was stupid and decided to fight a powerful enemy. :'3

Okay okay so
The story takes place in (whatever year Xenoblade X takes place in plus around 20 years) at a run down city called Old Hareth and a technological super city called New Hareth. C1 is a teen-aged boy/girl who lives in Old Hareth by themself. But they make a living nonetheless. How so? Skell fights. As a young child, he/she discovered an old Skell in the dumps and claimed it as his/her own, upgrading it and learning to use it over the years. By the time he/she was a teenager, Skell fights were extremely popular in the run down slums of Old Hareth but in the tech-boasting mega cities of New Hareth. C1 plans to become a world-renowned Skell fighter and make a name for him/herself as well as help change the lives for people who are less fortunate.
C2 is already what C1 hopes to be. Rich, well known, and skilled at Skell fights. Well, he/she was, but nowadays he/she just sits around in an old skell training arena C2 owns as a retired Skell fighter. One day, he/she suddenly feels like taking up the challenge of Skell fighting once more. But how? Simple. Tag fighting. Tag Skell fights were becoming a fan-favorite and it was the best way to become relevant again. But he/she would need a gimmick to help make themselves stand out from the crowd. Aha! Why not train an underdog to fight alongside him/her? It was the perfect plan. But will this work out between a once-famous and pampered Skell fighter and a new-blooded street rat from the slums with a hand-me-down Skell?
I don't frakkin know. It's a plot. Wouldn't be fun if I told you how it worked out. -
Xenoblade X takes place in 2056, so it would be 2076 then. :3
Sounds interesting though~ I like that it implies that human civilization has expanded beyond NLA, which makes a lot of sense considering.
It could still be fun if you told me~ :P -
