I like it so far. I'm playing on a PSP emulator because I'm bad. XP
It makes me laugh that they refer to my female avatar as "him". I just find it amusing.
I'm also getting used to the controls. It's a bit weird since I'm playing it on my phone. But I'm getting it. Just don't ever ask me to be the long ranged member of the group. I spend way too long aiming. XD
I've added yet another game to the endless list of games I've started and need to finish. -
God eater? I've heard of that. Isn't that the game where every fight is a huge boss fight basically and theres a risk-reward-esq system where you can sacrifice something like sight for a power boost or some s---?

I wouldn't say that every fight is like a boss fight, but some enemies reach that level for sure.
There might be a system like that later. I'm not quite sure. But there is a pretty cool mechanic. The thing is that the weapons that the characters use are bioweapons with cells (or something. I forget ^^') from the Aragami (monsters) in them. During battle, you can "devour" the enemy. You basically use your weapon to bite into the enemy. Then you go get a big power boost for a certain amount of time. I forget exactly what this is revered to as, though. -
