I just sort of stumbled here looking for somewhere to roleplay, but all the rooms are kind of confusing. Is there somewhere specific I should be or anything that I have to do to be able to roleplay? Thanks!

The official place the role play is in the stage, and you can do whatever sort of RP you want there.
