Thread Topic: Guess who's back...
-
Hello?
-
Eww! All the mods are not literate, only few are.
'Literate' isn't applicable. They don't read the forum rules, I guess. -
So, is this where the want for moderators started? -
I think you should be a moderator.
-
No, I disagree.
-
What do you mean, "disagree"? Jeeshan is one of the best users on GTQ! I mean look at him! He made over seventy quizzes and he only joined last August. That's hard work! That's why he should be a mod.
-
Yeah, but I don't agree.
1. He isn't one of the best users. That's your opinion. No offense, Jeeshan.
2. A lot of people have done that. I know people who made over seventy in one month. It doesn't matter. People can make quizzes more often to be like that. He just makes them more frequently.
3. No, it isn't.
Do you know what qualities a moderator should have? Because none of those makes you a good mod.
I disagree to the max. -
Kyr: Thank you. Let me not remain Newbie and I will think of becoming a moderator. I have things to learn.
Kait: Being moderator needs few qualities. I have one of them, to be honest, and that is, I am quite mature than my age. I should be in GTQ for more than 1 year. I should use good grammar; you won't leik a modratur hu writs leik dis, r8? -
who's back?
-
Jeeshan.
-
Jeeshan- typing doesn't matter. Being mature for your age doesn't matter. If you want to be a good moderator then be like Maru. You don't have to be a certain age, level, or gtq age. None of that matters actually. We just want people who will help make gotoquiz better and fight trolls. Not literally, but yeah. I would just rather have someone else. I mean ICEE CHILL, The Geek, and Heph could be fabulous mods. There's no reason to prove yourself to be a mod. Ask if you can get put on the list of candidates and hope gtq guy thinks good of you. Besides that, I dont care. I'm ending this argument.
-
Neither do I care. I am not interested in becoming a mod either. Actually, maturity is required, whatever you say.
-
Not really. It isn't that much. ICEE can be immature sometimes. Look at her. She's perfect. Geek is just-
Well he's Geek
And he could be good.
Not everyone will be mature. It doesn't matter really. -
Then by what means do you think they should me moderators? (Not in an argument-like tune)
-
This is how Wireclub Forum chooses moderators -- if the answers are yes, then he/she is a perfect candidate for being a moderator.
1) Can the canditate remain professional and respectable at all times?
2) Can he/she be trusted enough to keep confidential information a secret?
3) Can the canditate work well with others as a group, to resolve an issue?
4) Can that user make decisions based on everyone's best interests?
5) Can he/she follow orders given without questioning them or hesitating?
6) Can he/she handle any and all responsibilities you're given at all times?
7) Can he/she handle stressful situations without cracking under pressure?
8) Can he/she remain positive in nature during difficult or stressful moments?
9) Can he/she handle each situation you face without any personal conflicts?
10) Can he/she enforce a zero-tolerance policy even on friends?
11) Can that canditate communicate well as he/she will be using this skill the most?
12) Can he/she help anyone and everyone even if it's his/her arch nemesis?
13) Can he/she be dependable as a lot of users are depending on him/her?
14) Can he/she use good judgement without judging people themselves?
15) Can he/she accept constructive criticism and negative feedback?
16) Can he/she admit to mistakes and make amends to anyone involved?
17) Can he/she read something in full without "reading into" the statements?
18) Can he/she be fair and unbiased without showing favoritism to anyone?
Plus public opinion, Admin's opinion, and other moderators opinion.
