Like, story-wise? Or something else my tired brain can't think of at the moment? I'm pretty sure I know most stuff about them, tho .v.

So, I'm gonna go ahead and start at band formation, as I don't feel like delving into their childhoods at this moment.
There's this blue-haired dude named Stu Pot. The reason for the blue hair is because he fell out of a tree when he was younger, and all of his hair fell out and grew back blue. Anyways, Stu Pot, he worked at this music shop place.
One day, this guy named Murdoc Niccals, he has this band currently set up, but they needed some synths for the band. Niccals here decided it would be a good idea to ram his car right into the music shop place, and he accidentally slams the car onto one of Stu Pot's eyes, and putting him in a coma.
Murdoc's buddies escape, but he gets caught. As a sentence, he was supposed to do some odd number of hours for community service, and take care of vegetable-Stu.
Murdoc doesn't really care for Stu, and just kind of puts Stu in his car while trying to impress some girls.
So, Murdoc's trying to do doughnuts or something with his car, but he crashes, and vegetable- Stu just flies out the front, and hits his one good eye on the curb. That wakes him up from his coma. Murdoc sees him stand up. Tall, blue hair, no eyes(technically, they're permanently filled up with blood, but shhh). Niccals thinks he would be a good front-man, but Stu Pot just needs a new name. Murdoc renames him 2D(2-dents xP))
Murdoc is a bass guitarist, and 2D does keyboard and vocals. They got 2D's girlfriend, paula, to do guitar. They needed a drummer.
Murdoc hears about this American dude named Russel working in Britain. Russel's friends got shot up during a drive by I think(been up all night-some things are a ill foggy)) and now occupy Russel's body.
Murdoc kidnaps Russel, and now they got a drummer.
Paula didn't last long, as she had a fling with Murdoc, and she got promptly kicked out.
Murdoc puts an ad in the paper for a guitarist, and gets an eight year old Japanese kid in a fedex crate.
Her name is Noodle, and she was originally part of an army of super soldiers. The rest of her squad was killed on orders of the Government or something, but the scientist couldn't kill her for some reason, so he sent her away in a fedex crate, with no memory of her past life.
When they trio of dudes get the crate, Noodle jumps out of it and plays a b----in guitar riff. The only English word she knew was noodle, so they called her that.
...and that's the end of Phase 0! Sorry for taking so long, but, as I probably mentioned above, stayed up all night, mind a little slow on typing xD -
Phase 1 is the debut album, aptly named 'Gorillaz'. It was mostly composed by Russel. Singles are: 'Tomorrow Comes Today', 'Clint Eastwood', 'Rock the House', and '19-2000', there were these things called 'G-bitez' that played sometimes on MTV. There's 5-9ish if them, and you can find them on youtube.
On Clint Eastwood and Rock the House, the rapper is named Del the Funky Ghost/Homosapian. In the story, is is the most prevalent of Russel's ghost friends, and Russel's 'Soul Mate', if you will. Not a lot happens phase 1.
Pre-Phase 2, I believe the Boogeyman exorcized Del from Russel's body. After the ordeal, Russel went to live in Ike Turner's basement for a while.
Murdoc went to mexican jail, and that's where he got a PhD.
2D went to help his father work at an amusement park.
Noodle went to Japan to learn about her forgotten past.
Noodle brought the band back together for Phase 2, and she canonically wrote almost all of the songs on Demon Days. 'White Light' was sung by a drunk af Murdoc.
Around this time, 'Rise of the Ogre', their biography, was published.
Near the end of production, Noodle wanted out, so Murdoc and her devised a plan for her to escape during the El Manana music video. The island would be shot down and she would parachute off.
Real helicopters were used instead of the prop ones, and Noodle died.
