Solve these linear equations:

0.8x + 5 = 0.2(40 - x)

2(x - 5) + 7 = x + 8

3x + 3 = 2(x + 7)

5(x - 1) - 6x = -11x

6(x + 2) - x = 4(x + 4) + 7

1/2(x + 8) + 3/2x = 10

1/2x + 1/4 = x

All you have to do is move all the numbers with an X on one side by adding or subtracting and then tge non-x numbers on the other side of the equal sign. Then divide whatever the number is beside the x by itself and divide the other side by the same number to get your answer.
