I hate high school for several reasons but I got help and it all got better.

No offense, but it honestly gets worse. I've only been in it for not even 2 years, and I hate it.

It sucks, but it gets way better when you're out of school completely and get to live your own life.

You can drop out when you're eighteen. Well, at least here. But always think about it like a race. You're a sophomore. You're half way there. Giving up completely won't really be a smart move. Almost at the finish line, mate. The only way it could get worse is if you don't keep up with your academics. Do so, and you'll be just fine.

You'll find yourself having less friends throughout high school. That's normal. Your mother is right. The ones that left you behind aren't really your friends. It's better to take those away that won't be there for you. By senior year, I'm sure you'll have at least two best friends. And trust me, that's the best way to do it.

Then there are the friends that actually DO care.
But here is what really ticks me off.
A group of my friends could hang out, and EXCLUDE me, which is fine sometimes, if you don't want to hang out, that's cool. But I do sometimes feel left out, and yeah, it hurts.
But when I hang out with some friends and don't invite a few, I'm suddenly the worst person ever.
