(I'm not a big fan of lots of veggies. But that's great that you've kept your vegetarianess for a whole YEAR!) -
Being vegeterian helps save the earth, animals and yourself. If you have any common sense at all, you'd know that it's very possible, quite easy, and saves lives. Yourself, animals, and the planets.
If you want to know how it helps anything at all, I'll explain.
Yourself- Vegeterianism is great for skin hormones, energy and many diseases. Your risk for heart disease is more than half reduced just from not eating meat, you have more energy and the general hormones in your skin are more intact. Your complexion is better.
Animals- Supply and demand. One less supplier, less demand. Simple.
The world- Bred livestock takes up a hell of a lot of water and food, which is one of the causes of the recent California drought. We waste our resources on livestock, causing famine and droughts. If the entire world went vegetarian, we would have enough food to end world hunger. -
I know it's possible and that it helps the earth but I need some bacon, for goodness sake! I can't live long without some bacon or some chicken.
I can't give up KFC or Popeyes, or Buffalo Wild Wings or anything that has meat products.
I can stand only a select few of veggies. Some are good, but others (like broccoli) are D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G. (sorry to all the broccoli fans). -
Oh? Why not? If you can't give it up, you don't have any self control, then? That makes you seem a little dangerous to society.
This is why you expand your diet. There are many vegetables in the world. -
I might go vegetarian when I'm older. Focusing on grain though.

Bacon is the muscle of a pig's rear. And that is appetizing..how? Also, pigs are slaughtered by being hung by their feet and having their throats slit, in which their blood pours out onto a dirty stone floor. Appetizing, eh?
