I'm about to go respond to things but then I wanna tell you this plot idea I have

Okay, so let's play a game so that I can finalize the details of this plot.. I'll give you two options, and you pick the one you like better.
Demons, or vampires?
Victorian era, or post-apocalyptic?

Hundreds of years into the future, human kind had almost destroyed themselves. When they were at their weakest, demons poured in from other dimensions, feeding off and destroying anything good left in the dying Earth. After the majority of remaining humans were destroyed, most demons left in search for other lands. Some, however, stayed and began to colonize earth. Demons, apart from physical differences, aren't that much unlike humans. They crave the same things- Land, power, wealth, and happiness. C1, a lesser demon, just wants to run his restaurant in peace- He lives in the territory of one of the three demon kings, all of which are at war with each other. He isn't very concerned with the war, though. He has his own things to worry about- Such as the family of humans that he has living in his basement. Why? Because he's fallen in love with C2, one of those humans. It seems safe enough, though. As long as they don't make noise, they'll never be found..
Until his diner is taken as a base by one of the rival demon kings. His human friends are found, and slaughtered, except for C2- See, by infecting humans with sorts of demon viruses, you can get incredibly strong monsters made for destruction. C2 is the only one who might be strong enough to live through the virus, but first, he must be trained- C1 volunteers to train him, if only to make sure that his lover is kept alive, and relatively unharmed.
Now, though, it's a ticking time bomb. Train him before the deadline, or they'll both be killed. Find a way to get them out of this mess, or C2 will be turned into a monster. -
I can dig.
