I know this is stupid, but when going at top speed on a bike, you shouldn't try to break with the front wheel. My back tire break isn't working, so my options were my foot and the front tire, so I tried the front tire. Let's just say there were a lot of cuts and bruises.

Yeah....
One time I was riding my bike really fast like a crazy maniac, and my mom was just standing there on her bike. I couldn't stop in time, and I ended up getting a really deep gouge in my knee. My shorts were stained with blood and the scar looks sort of disturbing. :P -
