Thread Topic: I finally finished reading To Kill A Mockingbird for school

The only interesting part of the book lasted about 3-5 chapters. I didn't like the book very much.
BUT SERIOUSLY, I CAN NEVER READ THE LAST PAGE WITH A STRAIGHT FACE. -
Guys, I will honestly type the entire last page for you if you want.
The author had a horrible choice of words, dear god. -

and the room was so warm and his voice was so deep and his knee was so snug that I slept.
Seconds later, it seemed, his shoe was gently nudging my ribs. He lifted me to my feet and walked me to my room. "Heard every word you said," I muttered, "...wasn't sleep at all, s about a ship an Three-Fingered Fred n Stoners Boy..."
He unhooked my overalls, leaned me against him, and pulled them off. He held me with one hand and reached for my pajamas with the other.
"Yeah, an they all thought it was Stoner's Boy messin' up their clubhouse an' throwin' ink all over it an'..."
He guided me to the bed and sat me down. He lifted my legs and put me under the cover.
"An' they chased him 'n' never could catch him 'cause they didn't know what he looked like, an' Atticus, when they finally saw him, why he hadn't done any of those things... Atticus he was really nice..."
His hands were under my chin, pulling up the cover, tucking it around me.
"Most people are, Scout, when you finally see them."
He turned out the light and went into Jems room. He would be there all night, and he would be there when Jem waked up in the morning. (Lee 376)
Maybe I just have a really messed up mind but my god. -
So many missing apostrophes. I typed it in a different app on my phone... So format stuff.

I think the worst and funniest part is that Atticus, or the main "he" on the page, is Scout's (I's) father. Jem is Scout's brother.

It does...
It was a book about social inequality and racism, but I honestly couldn't tell because it never seemed like the main focus.
I also just didn't like the book. -

Speaking of finishing books, out class finished out books as well
The funny thing is this
We had a lot of work that went with this book
I got great grades on the assignments
Yet i never read the book

The best I did was go through two weeks of daily assignments related to the book while only reading really brief chapter summaries online. -
